This Gutermann 100m Extra Strong (Upholstery) Thread- 36 is a strong heavyweight thread, especially designed to be used for seams under great stress. It suitable for both hand sewing and sewing with a sewing machine. The colour is a carbon grey.

This thread is high quality and especially tear resistant. It's suitable for heavily stressed seams, such as denim jeans, uphosltery, leather and heavy weight canvas. The recommended needle size for this thread is 70/10 to 100/16, so you can select the right needle for your fabrics and use a thinner needle where needed to avoid fabric damage.
