Carvico Sumatra Shiny Spandex- Coral Reef #9010

This shiny spandex fabric is made from a blend of nylon and elastane, resulting in a fabric that has excellent two way stretch and return, with slightly more stretch along the warp of the fabric. This shiny spandex is a medium weight fabric that has a soft and comfortable feel is an opaque fabric that becomes slightly less opaque the further that it is stretched. This shiny spandex is ultra chlorine resistant, resistant to oil and sunscreen, offers UV protection, and is pilling resistant making it great for use in swimwear, activewear, apparel and various theatrical, dance and gymnastics costuming projects, although a lining may be desired for some of these applications.
