This faille is made from 100% technical polyester and is a light to medium weight fabric that has a lustrous finish. It is a soft and smooth feeling fabric that drapes and falls beautifully, making it great for using as an outer fabric or comfortable lining in various apparel and costume projects. As this faille is a semi-opaque fabric, for applications where it is being used as an outer fabric a self-lining or other lining fabric may be desired for extra opacity.
