Fused Stretch Velvet- Glamour Black #12650

This soft black velvet has been fused with a mid-weight interfacing, creating a heavier weight fabric that has some light structure and body to it. This beautiful velvet is made from a blend of polyester and spandex, however the fusing limits its stretch, so there is only some slight give along the weft of the fabric. This soft velvet is ideal for making tracksuits, pants, shorts, jackets, skirts, dresses and other apparel and costume projects. If desired, the fusing can be removed from the velvet, resulting in a stretchy mid-weight velvet.
