You've probably heard the news that NSW has reached the double dose vaccination target of 70% of people aged over 16 years. I know you're all very keen to come on in and browse the shop in real life, and safety is my number one concern with reopening. For this reason, The Remnant Warehouse will continue to remain closed to the public until Monday 25th October 2021.

I can understand that this information may come as a bit of a blow for those who have been itching to get back in store next week, but my commitment is always to protect the health and safety of our staff and customers first and foremost. 

By Monday 25th October 2021 we will have a fully vaccinated work force ready to welcome you back in store.
 

The Remnant Warehouse will reopen to the public at 9am on Monday 25th October 2021

From Monday 25th October 2021, we will resume our regular trading hours of 9am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday. We will have a maximum of 5 customers in store at a time, so, similarly to last year, we will keep the front door closed and there may be a short wait if you arrive at a time when there are already 5 customers in store.

In accordance with NSW regulations, you will need to provide proof of vaccination at the door before entering.

Vaccination evidence includes:

• an online immunisation history statement
• a COVID-19 digital certificate from the Australian Immunisation Register
• a medical exemption, which includes either:
  • a medical contraindication certificate or
  • a medical clearance form.

You will also need to scan the QR code to check in and sanitise your hands before entry and wear a mask at all times.

It's been a while since everyone has been out and about, so we might be a bit out of practice. My hope is that we can all try our best to demonstrate kindness & patience with each other, including others who may be shopping at the same time. 

In the mean time, you can still continue to place your orders online with delivery or Click & Collect for pick up at our shop between the hours of 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. These hours will extend to cover our regular trading hours from 25/10/2021 onwards.

You're more than welcome to place an order now with Click & Collect to secure your fabrics, and pick up after 25th October 2021 once we reopen. We will be happy to hold these Click & Collect orders a little longer if you're wanting to pick up when you're coming back in store.

Once again, I can't express how deeply grateful I am for the support we have seen from our customers when times are tough.

I'd also like to acknowledge our wonderful staff for the great work they have been doing. It's been an incredibly challenging 3 months and they have been working with a lot of changes and added pressure. I am so proud of the team we have here at The Remnant Warehouse, and without them none of what we do would be possible.

Let's hope that this is the last time that we have to close the shop down and we can look forward to the better times ahead. I can't wait to see all our wonderful customers back in store from the 25th onwards!
