Storybook Garden Shiny Rib Spandex- Black #15279

This 2x2 rib spandex is a medium weight knit fabric that has a comfortable feel. Made from a blend of nylon and spandex this shiny spandex has excellent stretch and return along the weft of the fabric, with some good stretch along the warp too. Originally from a swimwear designer, this nylon spandex is perfect for making swimwear as well as active wear and other apparel and costume projects. This spandex was made in Spain and is fully opaque, however for some applications a spandex lining may be desired to ensure complete opacity when stretched.
